Accessibility Statement

Liban Bites wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including disabled customers and people who use assistive technology.

 

Our accessibility aim

We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2, at level AA. These guidelines cover matters such as keyboard access, text alternatives, colour contrast, clear structure, readable content, visible focus and compatibility with assistive technology.

We have not yet completed a full independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim that every part of the website fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA.

 

What you should be able to do

We aim to make it possible to:

  • zoom and enlarge text without losing essential information;

  • navigate the main website using a keyboard;

  • understand pages that use clear headings and logical reading order;

  • use meaningful link and button labels;

  • read text with sufficient colour contrast; and

  • access useful alternative text for informative images.

 

Known limitations

Some parts of the website may not yet work perfectly for every user or assistive technology. Potential limitations include:

  • third-party ordering, payment, account or delivery features that are embedded in or linked from the website;

  • social-media feeds, maps or other third-party content;

  • some images, animations or older content that may need improved text alternatives, controls or labelling; and

  • occasional focus-order, keyboard or screen-reader issues within complex interactive components.

We are reviewing the site and will make reasonable improvements as issues are identified. Where a feature is provided by a third party, we may not control its underlying code, but we will still try to offer a practical alternative.

 

Getting information or ordering another way

If you cannot access the menu, complete an order or use part of the website, contact us. We can discuss the menu, allergen information and ordering options by telephone, or provide key information in a reasonable alternative format where practicable.

Reporting an accessibility problem

Please tell us if you find an accessibility barrier. Include the page or feature involved, what went wrong, the device or browser you were using and, if you are comfortable doing so, the assistive technology involved. This information helps us reproduce and fix the problem.

We will acknowledge a clear accessibility report as soon as reasonably practicable and aim to provide a response or suitable alternative within 10 working days. More complex technical fixes may take longer.

 

Third-party services

This site is built on Wix and may link to services such as Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Google and Instagram. Those organisations are responsible for the accessibility of their own platforms. If a third-party service prevents you from ordering, contact us and we will try to identify another available route.

This statement concerns the website. If you need information about step-free access or another reasonable adjustment when collecting from 297 Old Street, please call before arriving so that we can give current, practical information.
